Consider asking for a non-smoking room to avoid unpleasant odors, and don't hesitate to inquire about iron availability ahead of time.

hotel is very good in terms of cleanliness, facilities and services, bad thing is that it is next to a roundabout with lots of traffic and you can hear a lot of noise from vehicles, surely on a higher floor you will hear less, I was on the second floor, rooms facing inside I guess they will be quieter, On the other hand, has nothing to do with the hotel, in the surroundings of the hotel there is practically nothing to eat and no bars either, there is only one called the viandas that I do not recommend at all, there are many gas stations and a carrefour but there are only fast food places. In general the hotel and buffet food, I found it excellent.
The theme of the sun loungers is the same as always in all hotels, they should control more people who book sun loungers and take hours to return, the surroundings of the hotel, is an area that leaves much to be desired, too much traffic and there is no entertainment area that is not local fast food.

The hotel in general.
I spent two nights in room 202, overlooks the gardens and swimming pool. I asked for that location to rest because the other side overlooks the main road to Murcia, as I didn't manage to sleep, first night they woke me up at 7:30 in the morning moving tables and chairs (I think they were preparing what I had the next day, wedding). In the afternoon I couldn't take a nap because there was a music group rehearsing for the wedding and trying the microphone with piano and violin. the worst thing came at night, between the noise of the music that was rumbling all over the room and continuous listening of the music even with the sales closed and ruckus of people shouting like that, until 5 in the morning without sleeping neither 20 min. followed so I called to the desperate reception and they told me that they changed my room something that I don't have to get to complain. since it was 5 in the morning and at 9 I had to leave on a trip I decided to leave the hotel very very angry and desperate for not being able to sleep I left at 6 in the morning. With a lot of people in the corridors since we were on the same floor staying. I didn't complain before thinking every moment would end because the Chile out zone as they call it by rule until 2h I thought they would end later and later at 5h I couldn't take it anymore and I went out shotgun. I usually travel a lot to Murcia and it is the worst experience of all, even in hostels I have slept better.

perfect base for exploring murcia's charming attractions and parks
The room was spacious and clean, and being only about a 15-minute walk from the fine murcia bull arena made it easy for me to explore everything the city has to offer. I particularly enjoyed the nearby parque de la Seda for some relaxing strolls in lush greenery.

Nelva has all-round excellent facilities. We also found the bar staff and room service to be excellent. The location is deceptively close to the city centre.
We were extremely disappointed to find the outdoor pool closed as it was 'out of season', even though the weather was very warm and many people were sunbathing around it. We feel the pool availability should be far more visible during the booking process.

The pool was a fantastic spot for them to cool off, and the receptionist was friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, essential for families.
In my kids' opinion, a wider variety of kid-friendly meals would be great.

Ideally situated for visiting University of Murcia as son will be studying there from September. Great facilties including pool & gym- which son appreciated! All areas of hotel were spotless & quiet, staff very friendly & helpful. Well equipped bedrooms with air con (which was needed as daytime temperature reached 44!) & fab bathroom. Would definitely recommend the Nelva for it's great facilities & closeness to city centre.

The room was new-fashioned and spotless, with a modern decor. We had a great balcony, a patio and armchairs in the room. Ideal location of the hotel in the immediate centre of town. The view was magnificent, the service was good.
